WHAT IS GOLD-FILLED/ GOLD-VERMEIL? 

Gold-filled offers all the same physical characteristics as solid gold such as beauty, durability, and strength. All our gold-filled jewelry is made from 18K yellow gold and platinum.Gold vermeil is an overlay of gold over a base of sterling silver.

Many factors can influence the condition of Gold-filled / Gold vermeil jewelry. Therefore you should make sure that your jewelry is properly cleaned, repaired and stored. Take care to avoid extreme humidity or heat as this may cause tarnishing. Which can permanently damage or discolor your gold vermeil jewelry. This will keep them looking their best.

WARRANTY

We warrant that our jewelry supplied and listed on our invoice is in good working order and that the descriptions given are accurate and true.

 

Every piece of VAVAVOOM jewelry is covered under the implied warranty of quality of six months from the date of purchase. Which the consumer may return goods showing material defects or manufacturing faults to our customer service team for repair or replacement . 

Consumer damage, changes to the article or neglect, however, will render the warranty null and void.

CARING FOR YOUR JEWELRY

Gold vermeil and silver Jewelry will naturally tarnish over time. it adds character to the item makes it as individual as you are. Always protect your jewelry from knocks, scratches, chemicals, sunlight and heat/cold to minimize these effects.

Lightly wipe your jewelry and gem stone carefully with a soft cloth/ jewelry polishing cloth to keep it clean . Avoid tissue or paper towels which can cause scratches on the surface ,  and NEVER use chemical cleaners on 18k gold vermeil jewelry--it can strip the gold finish. 

Avoid spraying perfume or applying deodorant, hair lacquer or lotion directly onto your jewelry.

Please remove prior when you shower or bath and particularly when on the beach, in the sea and in chlorinated water.

Ideally store your jewelry in a dark, cool and dry place. Store each piece of gemstone jewelry separately. Avoid hitting your gemstones against hard surfaces or surfaces that cause abrasion. Diamonds and semi-precious stones may be cracked, chipped or shattered under impact. Gems can scratch the finish on your gold, silver or platinum if you throw your jewelry in a heap in a drawer or jewelry box.
